ROCKPORT RIVER
TERMINALS, INC
RRT operates and maintains a 988 Caterpillar rubber-tired wheel loader with a 10 cubic yard multi-purpose bucket. RRT normally uses this loader while loading bulk materials (Coal - Rock- Fertilizer)
Our multi-purpose yard is designed to handle all types of bulk materials on 60" belt conveyors. RRT is able to transload at a maximum load out rate (dock to barge) (truck to yard ) of 1800 tons per hour.
The ground level truck dumping hopper was designed with a stainless steel hopper and dual truck dumping capacity to facilitate a high volume ability with a thru-put capability of 1800 tons per hour.
RRT's conveyor system is designed to dump, transfer, and stack bulk materials at a high volume of thru-put.
(Loadout -- 1800 tons per hour)
(Offload -- 900 tons per hour)

RRT's bulk material loading / offloading facility is comprised of a 60" loadout conveyor, a 60" offload conveyor, a 245 CAT excavator, a 20' diameter mooring cell, a 276' x 50' x 12' deck barge and a continuous barge pulling winch.
RRT's bulk material loading / offloading facility also provides an efficient, user-friendly operation. The use of a breasting wheel, a continuous barge pulling winch and control house helps facilitate the loading of materials in a timely manner.
RRT's 17 acre secured (fenced) storage facility will allow storage for intermodal containers, steel and warehousing. Over 4 acres of concrete pads are available for use within the 17 acres. Additional areas within the secured area are expected to be used for future development.
RRT has made readily available a 60' x 170' (10,200 square foot) concrete floor steel structure building on a secured (fenced) 3 acre area. This facility also has city water, sewer, natural gas and 3-phase power available.
Within RRT's 17 acre secured (fenced) area, there is a total of 125,000 square feet of concrete staging area for open storage. Water, sewer, natural gas, and 3 phase electricity are all available on site.
RRT adjoins the American Electric Power Rockport generating power plant.
